## How Sun Tunnels Bring Daylight Where Skylights Can’t

Some rooms are just too far from the roof. An interior bathroom in the middle of a house, a closet under a deep attic, a hallway with ductwork right above it. A full skylight would need a huge shaft. A sun tunnel needs a 10 or 14-inch path.

### What is the difference between a sun tunnel and a skylight?

A skylight is a window in the roof with a framed shaft. A sun tunnel is a small dome and a reflective tube that carries light through the attic to a ceiling diffuser. Tunnels fit where shafts cannot.

### Which rooms are best for sun tunnels?

Hallways, walk-in closets, interior bathrooms, laundry rooms, pantries and stairwells.
