How long does a skylight installation take?
Most single residential skylights are installed in one day, including flashing and the interior light shaft rough-in. Drywall finishing on the shaft may need a second short visit for mud and paint. Multi-unit additions take 2 to 4 days and commercial atria take 1 to 2 weeks. Permit-required jobs add 2 to 6 weeks of paperwork before the install day, which is why spring installs are best booked in winter.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency skylight repair?
Yes. After-hours leak response is $650 to $1,200 callout plus $150/hr, and weekend and holiday callout is $750 to $1,500. We tarp or seal the opening, protect the ceiling below and document damage with photos for your insurer. The permanent repair is quoted once the weather clears.
Do you install skylights outside Toronto?
