Dark interior halls in brand-new Seaton builds

Your new home has a long upstairs hall and a windowless bathroom that need the lights on at noon.

Why it happens here: Seaton is still filling in, with 1,549 of 20,989 planned units built by 2022, and many of the new floor plans put halls and ensuites in the middle of the house, away from any exterior wall.

How we fix it: Our sun tunnel crew fits a Velux TGR between the trusses in about half a day, with no framed shaft and very little drywall work.
